Are there any good, cheap graphics cards that will be able to run Ghosts and BF4?
With the two big games, BF4 and COD Ghosts, coming out next month, I have been looking for a graphics card that could run these, but unfortunately found all of them to be at least $ 150. Does anyone know of any good, cheap (used is even ok) graphics cards that could run the new games? I’m mostly looking for something under $ 50, but under $ 100 is ok.

XFX AMD HD7770 OC 1 GB GDDR5
MSI Nvidia GTX 650 1 GB GDDR5
Both at 80 Euro.

you wont find a graphic card for under $ 50 that’s will run battlefield 4 or call of duty ghosts and to be honest you also going to find it hard with a $ 100 budget
however I have managed to find the “MSI R7770-PMD1GD5 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB”( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687 ) which at $ 99 is a great deal that will run the games at medium detail
for the price your getting some good specifications which include a massive 1000mhz core clock and 1gb of gddr5 memory running at 4500mhz ddr effective … theres also 640 stream processors and a 128bit memory interface and this results in a 72gb/sec memory bandwidth
another card to consider is the recently released “MSI Radeon R7 250 OC”( http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=90958 ) which has many new features not seen in previous radeon based cards
the most important of these features is “mantle” support which essentially is a new api( application program interface ) like direct x or open gl …. however mantle cuts out many existing parts of the api and works much more closer with the gpu ….
its going to take time for game developers to utelise “mantle” however the good news is “battlefield 4 ” will be releasing a mantle patch in late December which is why im recommending the “MSI Radeon R7 250 OC” ….
so which is better … well for reliability the HD7770 is probally the better .. however for technology and features the R7 250 is the better choice .. and with the mantle patch for BF4 I have to recommend the R7 250
in summary both these cards are under the $ 100 budget and both will run the requested games …. just make sure however you have a 450w or higher psu with 28A or more on the +12v rails …. and if you choose the HD7770 a 6pin pci-e power connector is needed …no connector needed for the R7 250
I hope this helps … any questions let me know
good luck mate !
