Books like Wake by Lisa McMann?
I read Wake, Fade, and Gone by Lisa McMann and I LOVED it so I was wondering if there were any other books like that.
I like the format of it-the diary-type thing.
I want it to be supernatural/romance and I don’t really care about POV or if it’s present time-like Wake-or past but I would like it to be somewhat like the series
I’ve wanted to read soul screamers for a while.
I read The Summoning and the other 2 in the series. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a lot of romance in it.

Not Diary but…
Glimpse by Zellie Wells – Zellie Wells has a devastating crush on Avery Adams, the son of her mom’s high school sweetheart. At her sixteenth birthday party, held in the basement of her dad’s church, she finally finds the courage to talk to him. Turns out, the devastating crush is mutual.
As Avery takes her hand and leads her out onto the makeshift dance floor, Zellie is overwhelmed by her first vision of his death; shocking because not only are they both covered in his blood, but they’re old, like thirty-five, and she is pregnant.
Shaken by Susan Hatler – High school junior, Kylie Bates, can suddenly read minds. When she touches people’s hands, she’s able to see their deepest thoughts. As if that’s not freaky enough, her dad sends her to help hottie detective, Sam Williams, track down a missing girl. Way too much pressure, especially for a girl who can’t watch Scream without getting nightmares.
Dark Visions by L.J. Smith – Kaitlyn Fairchild has always felt like an outsider. Her haunting eyes and prophetic drawings have earned her a reputation as a witch. But Kait’s not a witch: she’s psychic. Tired of being shunned, Kait accepts an invitation to attend the Zetes Institute, where she can study with other psychic teens and have a fresh start.
Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent – This one you have to buy the Volumes because 1st its cheaper and 2nd it includes the ?.5 storys which is really helpful to sort things out.
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong – After years of frequent moves following her mother’s death, Chloe Saunders’s life is finally settling down. She is attending art school, pursuing her dreams of becoming a director, making friends, meeting boys. Her biggest concern is that she’s not developing as fast as her friends are. But when puberty does hit, it brings more than hormone surges. Chloe starts seeing ghosts–everywhere, demanding her attention. After she suffers a breakdown, her devoted aunt Lauren gets her into a highly recommended group home.
These books are some of my favorites if your looking for heavier romances stay away from The Summoning. Hope this helps
