Is it getting increasingly difficult to tell what is reality and what is not?
You turn on the the TV and there is a program about ghost hunters or mediums all edited to look real.
At the bookshop there is a row of New Age books.
The Mystic Crap shop is full of crystals and stuff.
Everywhere there is dial-a-psychic, horoscopes, lucky charms, ghost tours, every sort of woo for sale.
Given that we base our reality on what we see around us and what our peers believe is it any wonder that people are mistakenly believing that the paranormal is real?

Only if you aren’t sane or are really gullible.
I base reality on reality, not what suckers believe.

Only for some of us.Many fall prey to the mystical hucksters.Sad as it is I find it hard to feel sorry for them.

But that’s where you’re mistaken. For some of us, the paranormal IS normal. Just because YOU can’t see it, doesn’t make it any less true.

Are there ghosts and spirits and when do they come around or is everything just based on evolution?
In my Life Science class we studied Evolution and how we evolved from single cell organisms. Is that all there is to life or is there life after death? Are there ghosts and spirits that live on after a person dies. How about animals? My pet cat is just totally awesome and I hope that he goes to heaven when he gets old. Also my mom and grandparents too. They are so awesome.

ghosts don’t really exist in real life.
However, I believe there is a heaven.

This is a question that is based on personal opinion..You are NOT going to get a correct answer because everyone has their own beliefs. I personally feel that there is life after death and ghost and spirits are among us. I do not believe in evolution. Look around there has to be something more then evolving from monkeys. I also believe in reincarnation. I also believe there is life after death…hence Reincarnation. As for heaven..well I believe in that..but feel you must fulfill your life purpose thru multiple lifetimes to get there. And YES I believe in the Christian God.

Listen, I dont know why everyone gets caught up with Evolution and GOD being seperate… God created everything right? yes, the universe planets, the earth was created 4.5 billion years ago, in the bible it says a million years to God is like one day, so God watch us evolve from single cell organism, watch the dinosoars go extinct, except for crocidiles and reptiles, and watch us evolve aswell.
The only reason it got seperated in church and state, ie: in the schools was because people were interpreting the bible too literally, ie: adam and eve, most stories in the bible didnt really happen. they are just stories that we are supposed to use as guides for right and wrong on how to live our lives..
So yes, God exists, and so does evolution, and ghosts and spirits, and heaven and hell.

How can somebody be a ghost hunter if their religion says there is no afterlife?
You die and you go to someplace called heaven or hell. So if that is the only place your soul can go, how can there be ghosts? The Holy Ghost doesn’t count, that’s a concept different from ghosts in general.

Ghost hunting is FAKE! Think about this, if ghosts were “real” they would be on the news! all the time. not on goofy channels for entertainment like sci fi. which is science fiction! LMAO
Suggestion by Tilly-x
Maybe their religion doesnt say it. But ghost hunting is fake 🙂
Even if there are ghosts in the world, none of the people who ‘hunt’ then ever find then, believe me x

Religions tend to have a lot of diversity within them. Most have the traditional group, the progressives, and the mystics. And even within those subgroups of belief there is a lot of diversity.
Many people also belong to religions for reasons other than belief in the official dogma. For many it is a case of social belonging.
I would guess that there is probably more diversity of belief within religions than there is between them.
And the question of what happens after we die is such a central question to human beings, that when they think their official religion hasn’t dealt with it adequately, people will look for answers themselves.
