Is the media bias and possibly corrupted?
If so which one, Liberal media, Conservative media or both?
Suggestion by archy
Both are corrupted, neither of them can accept the other end of the spectrum or even things that are not part of the spectrum as being good and right. Ultimately also too many things don’t get reported.
Suggestion by What?
Both. They don’t serve the truth. They serve their agendas. So people instead of looking for truth, they are looking for what they want to hear regardless of if it is true or not. It works well for ratings.
I mean what can be better than turning on the news and listening to exactly what you want to hear.

uses of a selective medium?
define selective medium and its uses?
Suggestion by OKIM IM
A selective medium is a medium only certain type of microoganism can grow. It may contain some inhibitors that can inhibit other microorganisms. Of course, the selective medium is used for isolating a certain microorganism, such as E. coli.
Suggestion by TheGreatThinker
Selective medium, as the name implies, is a culture medium used that allows the growth of only select microorganisms, depending on the content of the medium.
For example, eosin-methylene blue (EMB) agar is a selective medium because it contains methylene blue which is inhibitory to Gram positive bacteria, thus it only allows the growth of Gram negative bacteria.
Another selective medium is the MacConkey Agar or MAC. It contains bile salts and crystal violet which are also inhibitory to most Gram positive bacteria.
Other selective medium would include antibiotics that would inhibit the growth of the susceptible bacteria, and sometimes this is used for culturing fungi.
The primary use of these selective media is to suppress unwanted microbes, and to enhance the growth of desired microbes.
