I am desperately looking for a spirit medium thatdoes free readings. Does any one know of a legitimate medium?
I am looking for someone that truly has the gift and does not use it for monetary gain. Is there anyone out there that is truly genuine? I am grieving over the loss of my 21yr old son. I have no peace, I just want to know the truth of the circumstances that lead to this, no matter how good or bad the info may be. I would like to make contact with him. Thanks for the help.

Idk about spirit mediums, but you can Google psychics in your area and im sure you will get more than one choices. They usually dont cost that much.
My best wishes to you and your family

You don’t want to mess with spirits as there are good and bad spirits. God forbid if you attract bad spirits the outcome will be horrible. Better to consult an astrologer

How do you stop yourself from accidentally cold reading someone?
What steps do you nee to take to avoid this vagueness of speech and avoid accidentally gathering information from observations?
Okay maybe im overthinking some i know its very difficult to avoid at least some observations but how do you make yourself aware when youre getting info off of visuals and sounds rather than other things?

Personally, I prefer to get information from smells.

I think I know what you’re getting at and it’s a very valid question. It’s natural human instinct to read another person’s body language, eye movements, voice inflections, skin flush, etc. and all people do it subconsciously. So how does one inhibit a sense they’re not even aware they are using?
Of course, there are so many thousands of fraudulent psychics who do it intentionally, using those subtle hints as a way to direct their inquiries & ferret out information. But there are also lots of pseudo-psychics who do the same unwittingly. A pseudo-psychic may have rudimentary psi insight, but aggrandizes their own skills, becoming convinced they have special abilities.
If one follows the procedures that parapsychologists adhere to, the sitter & psychic are rarely placed in the same room or there’s a barrier between them. So in a private setting, I’d advise someone to turn their chair around to face away from the psychic. Unfortunately, the burden falls on the client to prevent that and a smart consumer will make every effort to avoid giving away info. They should practice their best, hardened poker face and respond in monotone with only Yes or No during a psychic reading.
I don’t know how a professional psychic might answer this question (and would be curious to read those responses myself, actually.) Because I’m not a garden variety psychic, I don’t do the typical face-to-face readings with people. As a medium, it’s not the LIVING I’m getting info from, so I never even need meet the client in person. On the rare occasion that I do visit with someone, it’s always a follow up to an email reading.
I’ve put years of trial & effort and adaptations to my methods to prevent the kind of exchanges you’re referring to. Naturally, I’m biased and can only speak as to my own practices, but I find that the most valid and unimpeachable reading is done by email. That mechanical, distant form of communication between sitter & reader makes it utterly impossible to pick up “cues” and is the most effective safeguard.

There are assumptions and what it is you are exactly seeing.
Take any person for example. You might be able to determine many things about them, but what is invisible to your naked senses you can only assume exist and not confirm from sense.
If you run into an assumption greet as it is. Reason to disagree? “I see x of the man, therefore the man is friendless.” Its coming to a conclusion or inference without actually observing if the man standing in front of you has that quality.
What we can assume, there is a diagram of categorized it falls into, the same with the observed. Knowing what is invisible about a person, can lend you acknowledgement of assumption, or the so called question.

What is a good price to start off for a Medium/Psychic reading?
If you were to go to a party and there were readings being done for about an hour’s worth, what would be a good price range?
if you dont like psychics then dont comment here, its that simple.
Obviously you had a terrible psychic that didnt know what they were doing, dont discourage others

depends…how much do you usually pay to be robbed?
Psychics are phonies.
They have no powers
(Feel free to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve been investigating them since 1972)
They are ALL terrible….why can’t you understand that?

i used to go to this club and there was a guy there who’d charge 5 dollars for a tarot reading.. it was fun, an easy splurge and entertaining while you were a bit drunk of buzzed.. it’s funny cuz that guy read me twice, in two different clubs, 5 yrs apart from each other..
i’d say 10 bucks for a tarot reading at a party is good.. you might wanna have a jar for tips in case they like what they hear, and leave your business card near the tip jar..
an hour’s reading sounds like a long time.. and i don’t think anyone will want to go broke for a reading..
i understand you won’t have much time at a party and if you’re only there for a few hours doing one hour readings, you might want to charge a lot to be able to walk out with some substantial amount in your pocket.. but, at a party, if the music’s loud, they might not want to spend an hour there in a reading.. they might want to go mingle, and they’ll definitely tell other people about their reading when they’re done, it’ll give them something to talk about.. so you might wanna make the readings shorter and charge about ten bucks for ten minutes in my opinion, with a tip jar there and business cards.. $ 20 for 20 minute readings, you can make them half an hour if you like to talk a lot (sounds kind of cheap actually..) advertise them as special rates, that way if you normally charge more then they won’t be surprised and they’ll think that they’re getting a deal
